A quick post to alert readers to an online campaign aiming to raise funds to develop this pilot sci-fi webisode into a full web series.
The Abandon is a new web series that follows a group of African-American friends during an alien invasion.
For all of its thrifty low budget attributes, the pilot not only displays a keen eye for style and suspense, but features a truly impressive naturalistic performances from its cast.
I'm keen to see more.
It seems that if only half the people who have watched the free pilot online had donated a dollar each, The Abandon would already have its entire budget.
